Inclusive Teaching Resources and Strategies

The Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT) at the University of Michigan, founded in 1962, was the first teaching center in the country. While the core mission of the center is to promote excellence and innovation in teaching at the University of Michigan, it does have external reach as well. Through both the CRLT Players, which uses theatre to enhance teaching, learning, and institutional climate – as well as through projects & presentations as national conferences.


Below is one brief example of how trainers incorporate the CRLT Players to introduce inclusive practices around “(dis)Ability in the Classroom”

With more and more interest and need in addressing diversity and inclusion in classrooms, CRLT provides workshops and many other materials at Inclusive Teaching Resources and Strategies designed to not only define inclusive teaching, but also provide specific strategies for practicing it.
